I am Winston a stunning handsome, very happy, loving and sweet longhaired Dachshund. I find myself single again and on the prowl for that loving home that will shower me with all the attention, treats, belly rubs and ear scratches I can handle. But don't worry I'm a pro and can handle all you can give. My owner had to go into assisted living and is no longer able to take care of me. I had a very loving home with my mom, where she was home most of the time. I would love to have a new home with either a retired person or where they work from home. I don't do well in a crate, I tend to work myself up. I'm out of that puppy stage and should do just fine having free roam of the house.
I am good on the leash and love long (or with my legs maybe shorter) walks in the moonlight (during the day is good too!), dancing in the rain or doing the cha cha cha in the sunshine. I am also good with other dogs and enjoy playdates in the park. I would also do better in a home with another sibling so I can have someone there with me.
After all my walking, dancing and playing I'm ready for some relaxing time with my people. It's Miller time, a glass of Chablis, or a nice big bowl of water would be good too!! Oh and it's snuggle and cuddle time too!! My most favoritest thing!! We can curl up and watch TV or you can read a book to me or if you want we can share a nap together!
