My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mud Pie 6618
There aren’t many times that you can define the inherent characteristics of a canine as engaging, appealing, amazing, charming, fetching (pun intended), endearing, and unmitigatedly entertaining. Welcome to the world of Mud Pie. As you walk with him to the bark park, he will be treating you with courtesy and will be strolling nicely along next to you. When you arrive, the fun really starts. In the first 2 minutes he will have scoped out the best sniff strip, the most amusing avenue of amusement rides, and the best treat vendors currently available in the park. The photographer had just cleaned the doggy wading pool and filled it with fresh, hygienically purified water from the garden hose hoping for a little appreciation from the bark park participants. Mud Pie, being the refreshingly independent thinker that is his specialty, looked longingly at the cool, blue pond and then surrendered to his true self as he carefully stepped around to the puddle that was being filled by the hose that had been thoughtlessly, but conveniently left running by the pool maintenance crew. The next 15 minutes were filled with Mud Pie’s total abandonment of manners as the photographer watched in awe as the canine rolled, romped, danced, and blithely cavorted in the sea of impeccably united dirt and water, mixed to the perfect consistency by a canine master of ceremonies, pausing only occasionally to shake off the outer coating, allowing the human and his camera to also enjoy the refreshing earth mist of canine creativity. Mud Pie, now sufficiently protected from the heat of the sun, dashed over to the nearest assortment of bark park squeakies and chose the ever-popular Woody Woodpecker, thoughtfully enticing the human to give it a good toss. Mud Pie showed off his athletic prowess as he skyed high in pursuit of the “lucky” toy. He successfully captured the elusive bird and posed proudly with his new temporary best friend. Mud Pie’s bark park adventure included aerobics, Yoga stretching, and a mud bath facial that would make Hot Springs spas jealous. Mud Pie is a well-trained pup who performs an instant sit and down on request and is totally house trained. As perfect as he is, there is one caveat that must be carefully observed. Mud Pie had a negative encounter as a puppy that will not let him be in a home with any other animals or be in a situation where he would encounter other canines, even while going for walkies or meeting visitors with a pet. If you have a home that meets these requirements, please contact the Humane Society for Animals in Rogers, AR and check out this amazingly gifted canine.
