Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Scraps!
Hi friends! I’m Scraps and you would think that someone with that name would be a tiny little thing. But no! I am a 4 year old, 72 lbs big boy who is looking for his forever family. I enjoy playing tug of war with other dogs and running around. When I meet new dogs, I might be a little shy but after a little while, I am very friendly and want to play. If you have a ball to throw, I am your dog! I can play fetch for as long as your arm can stand it!It is so much fun! Once done playing, I do enjoy a good belly rub as I try to pretend I am a lap dog and get comfortable on top of my human. I am a natural heeler and can keep pace with my human, unless of course, there is something interesting to smell or I see a cat. With my foster parent we have been working on commands such as sit, come, drop it, and heel. We are also trying to perfect my stay. I still have so much to learn! You know one thing that is really funny about me? I like being really clean so when it’s time to go potty outside, I circle once or twice, go and then start walking on my front two legs. I don’t want to get dirty at all!
I love people in general and could even be considered a bit of a velcro dog. When my foster parents need to go out, I go into the crate to hang out. I don’t mind it at all but it does mean the playing time is over, which I don’t like since I love playing!. In my future home, I would love going on fun adventures, playing tug of war and getting all the love and belly rubs that I possibly can.
