My story

PELUSA IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR FOSTER (TO ADOPT)

PLEASE READ PELUSA’S BIO IN DETAIL TO ENSURE THAT SHE WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE BEORE APPLYING OR ASKING QUESTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN ANSWERED IN THE BIO. SHE IS A DIRECT ADOPTION FROM MEXICO WHERE SHE WILL COME DIRECTLY FROM THE SHELTER TO THE ADOPTERS HOME.

We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

Pelusa is a lovely senior girl who has had a very difficult life. She was found in the high kill city pound where she was found with a broken jaw and a damaged eye which we assume was due to being kicked in her face. Someone told our sister rescue SOS el Arca in Mexico and they immediately went to take her out of there so she could get medical help immediately.

Once in the shelter it was proven her jaw was broken and she was blind in one eye from the injury. Surgery was required to reset her jaw and it was a success. Since she is an older girl she requires a gentle and loving touch. She does require eye drops in her one eye every day for the rest of her life. We would love this girl to find a forever home where she could live out her senior years in comfort and peace, something she has never known.

A house with a fenced in backyard would be wonderful for her but she could also live in a condo or apartment. She is best suited as an only pet because of her injury and her age. She is house trained, crate trained and she walks well on leash.

We care about PELUSA so much and want her to find the perfect home. She is a good girl who wants nothing more to be cuddled and loved for the rest of her life, if you feel you would be the right fit for her, please fill out an adoption application at www.allpawsmatter.ca\

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heartworm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.

BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
