This helps New Hope Rescue Ranch with pet care costs.
I received a call from Barbara about a kitten in a laundromat in Central Islip. It was not trapped but it was behind the machines, hiding in the wall. She had been there with Lori for two hours trying to coax the kitten out. They left and I arrived. I didn't see it but I could hear it. I slowly climbed on top of the machines and jumped behind them and was able awkwardly to put a kitten trap back there in front of the opening in the wall. After a few hours of sitting on top of the machine, I realized the kitten was not going to go in. It was peeking its head through the wall but was very cautious. I left the trap set and left asking the attendant to call me if the kitten went in the trap. Well Barbara got the call that Landon was in the trap, so she set out to get out to bring it to the Ranch. She is still afraid. She will be full vetted by the time he is adopted.
