What a personality! Milkyway is an 8-year-old Chihuahua who was rescued from the Riverside Shelter after she came in as a stray. When she came into the shelter, they noticed her eye had an old injury which could not be helped. Therefore, they decided to sew her eye shut. It does not seem to bother her any.

Milkyway is such a positive little soul. She wags her tail non-stop and loves to be held and cuddled. She is a hit at any adoption event...wagging her tail at everyone and readily rolling over for belly rubs. She especially loves children. She is in a home with an infant and also has smaller children who come by the house. She is currently getting showered with attention in her foster home from both adults and kids and this is her world.

Even though she is not aggressive with other dogs, Milkyway would prefer to be the only dog so she can get all of the attention. She has been around other dogs and does just fine until they want to get in front of her for human attention. Then she growls but does not bite.
