This is Hero! He is a 6-month-old lab mix puppy. Hero has a sleek black coat with a white stripe from his chin to his chest. He has adjusted very quickly to his foster home. He plays nicely with his young dog foster siblings and is respectful of the 12-year-old dog who doesn’t want to play. He loves his wading pool, he will retrieve a ball, and he chews on his toys. He loves it when the grass is all wet and will run through it to get as wet as possible! Fortunately, his fur is very short so he dries in a flash. Although he’s still teething, he seems to know that he should not chew on people belongings or furniture. He is fairly laid-back and calm for a puppy. He knows how to sit for a treat. He sleeps all night in his crate, too! Since he’s 35 pounds at 6 months old, we think he’ll be a big boy when he’s fully grown! Hero would love to have a family with a big backyard, some children to play with, and maybe another dog, too.
