This sweet pup is Tank. He's between 6-8 months old and will be average size for a male pit bull full grown, most likely about 55-60 lbs.
Tank is a total puppy. He loves to be goofy and playful. Loves other dogs and loves to wrestle and play chase with them. Tank is also very outgoing and friendly with all people. And oh so sweet and loving.
Tank is in a wonderful foster home with several other dogs so is getting great socialization and learning to play well with others. He's also learning the ropes from his older doggie brothers and sister.
Tank has an amazing foster family that has put a lot of work into teaching him all his basic commands and teaching him great leash skills. Tank is a energetic, but well behaved puppy that is completely house and crate trained.
Tank would love a big active family and would be happiest with a friendly female doggie companion that loves to play like he does and will help wear him out. He loves to snuggle and cuddle on the couch once he's gotten his energy out.
Tank has not lived with cats, but tested well with them so may be able to live with a dog savvy, confident cat with slow introductions and supervision.

Adoption Requirements
*CPBR rarely makes same sex placements for purebred pit bulls, exceptions only for mixes and breed savvy, multi-dog experienced owners, all pets in the home must be spayed/neutered
*Adopters must be at least 25 years old (exceptions may be made for homeowners that show a history of stability and responsibility).
*We check property records. You must either be a home owner or get approval from your landlord and be able to provide us with contact info to verify that pit bulls are allowed.
*We are looking for responsible dog owners that can show they have done their research. These are people that undertand why pit bulls should not be taken to dog parks, left outside unattended, and why pit bulls should always be supervised with other animals.
Adoption Process
Requires references, home visit, contract and $150-$250 adoption fee depending on vetting and training provided . All dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, heartworm tested and on preventative, health checked and microchipped at a minimum
