This adorable boy is Scout. He's a 1-2 year old boy and average size at about 60 lbs.
Scout is an ultra loving, desperate for affection kind of guy. He wants most to be with his family as much as possible. He will follow you around, sleep on your feet and stay by your side.
Scout probably didn't have the best life previously and clearly wants to make up for the love he's not yet known. He loves people! All people, all ages! He's probably still a bit rambunctious for very small children, but would love a home with older kids to play with and follow around the house.
Scout is living in a foster home with two other dogs, cats and horses. He does great with everyone and loves to wrestle and play with his doggie friends.
Scout is very well behaved and easy going in the house. He loves cuddle time on the couch. He's happy to do whatever you want to do as long as he can be with you.
Here is what Scout's foster mom has to say " He is doing excellent w/ the other dogs and doesn't seem to mind the cats. Just a little curious. Responds well to "NO" and is very easy to go in his crate and go to bed. He's VERY loyal and doesn't leave my side or if my husband is the only one there doesn't leave his side. "
Scout is just a sweet, loving little guy that can't wait to have a real family of his own to devote all his love to. Please come and meet our boy soon.

Adoption Requirements
*CPBR rarely makes same sex placements for purebred pit bulls, exceptions only for mixes and breed savvy, multi-dog experienced owners, all pets in the home must be spayed/neutered
*Adopters must be at least 25 years old (exceptions may be made for homeowners that show a history of stability and responsibility).
*We check property records. You must either be a home owner or get approval from your landlord and be able to provide us with contact info to verify that pit bulls are allowed.
*We are looking for responsible dog owners that can show they have done their research. These are people that undertand why pit bulls should not be taken to dog parks, left outside unattended, and why pit bulls should always be supervised with other animals.
Adoption Process
Requires references, home visit, contract and $150-$250 adoption fee depending on vetting and training provided . All dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, heartworm tested and on preventative, health checked and microchipped at a minimum
