Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When we say a dog is special, we mean it. We were actually hoping a previous adopter following our fb page would jump at the chance to add her to their home but it appears not at this time.
Noir is just that and we have 23 years in rescue with a huge variety of dogs to compare. She is kind, submissive, attentive, corrects well, smart, energetic, lovable and is a leaner. One of those dogs that melts into you with attention.
Norrie came to us with a shelter respiratory infection and needed isolation for the first two weeks. It did help her heal and gain weight (she was so skinny) plus settle in with a new caregiver and make a connection. Once clear she was a hit meeting all the dogs and volunteers. She recently moved to foster for a chance to give her focused love, house time and confidence. When she first arrived just approaching her she would lay down and submissively pee. After continued work and a routine she is much improved, follows us out to potty on command and with NO baby talk is learning to dog. Her foster asked us for a younger playful dog as her longer term foster was a bit much for her seniors. Norrie was the perfect fit and is having a blast with Taylor. We know she would love and learn from another equally jacked playmate. Norrie went into the foster home with confidence and has made an easy transition. 🔶Norrie will be spay scheduled after 8/14/22.
Norrie is around 7-8 months old, we think a poodle/spaniel/setter/retriever mix? Her coat is curled, a bit of wire?, doesn’t appear to shed a whole lot BUT she does shed. We can’t guarantee any dog as hypoallergenic. Around 45 lbs, having gained much needed weight since intake. She is still filling out.
Knoxville area. A fenced yard a plus, an active family, kids a possibility of dog experienced but not too young. Another playful dog a plus.
