My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ella was found as a stray and is very fearful! She is a good little dog, goes to her kennel when told - always goes outside to go potty and LOVES other dogs and cats. She is just scared of people!

She did go to training but she will still need time bond with her forever human. She will need someone understanding that she may always be on the shy side with humans but with training and continued love and care she will continue to blossom!

She absolutely loves to play with other dogs and cuddling with them in a comfy dog bed! Since being in a home, she has acquired a love for lounging on the couch or making herself a little bed out of a fuzzy blanket. Ella also doesn't mind sharing a home with other furry animals, and gets along very well with cats. I actually joke that she is very much like a cat in a dog body 😊

Her personality and quirks are endearing. She is such a goofy girl - when she plays her tail goes nuts and she army crawls around and is guaranteed to make you laugh!

She's fully vetted (spayed, vaccinated & microchipped) & soon to be fully trained -- all that's missing is her perfect forever home! **To be considered for adoption, we do ask that you have a secure yard.**

If she sounds like a good fit for you and your home, please reach out!

More about this rescue

The Pet Knot was forged to combine efforts of like-minded rescues and volunteers humbly striving to make a dent in the urgent pet over-population crisis. Our talents and strategies promote animal adoptions through online, in-store, and boutique-like options for adopters. All animals receive the highest level of medical care and grooming. Animals also receive appropriate adjustment time and basic social skills in foster homes in preparation for a new home environment. We help all animals including seniors, special needs, and those seemingly unadoptable cases and work diligently to place each in the most appropriate permanent home possible no matter how long it takes. We call ourselves The Pet Knot because not only do we connect people with pets, we keep people with pets.

The Pet Knot consists of The Pet Knot and Paw Promise animal rescue working together.
