My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Come and meet, the one and only “Dutch”. He is a 5yo black Lab who was picked up as a stray, along with his partner in crime, Orville (also on the Dog-a-Log) and kindly rescued by the Lab loving folks at DLRR. (The Vet described him as 5 or younger.)
Dutch is a sweet boy weighing 63 pounds making him a bit on the thin side. He is a very pretty black Lab with a nice slick coat and a face that screams “you know you love me”. He walks very well on the leash without pulling and does enjoy those moments out in the fresh air. He will make an amazing companion for an active family though he does not demand high activity; his energy is moderate.
While we know little about Dutch, what we know is he is gentle with people, LOVES
his treats and takes them very gently. Dutch rides well in the car. He is likely food motivated and reportedly not food aggressive! He will help you clean up your mess of food if you leave one...Dutch says “yes please”. He LOVES people and their gentle hand for petting and loving and he is very affectionate in return. He gets along with other dogs and as we have witnessed, he knows no strangers. Such a happy boy.
