Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Labrador Retriever mix
108lbs-needs to lose some weight
4 years old
Good with most other dogs. Loves to play fetch. Loves the water. We were told housetrained but can't guarantee. Knows basic commands.
Mostly has the Chessie coat and will shed heavily. If you know the breed, they can not be brushed with a wire brush or groomed. Their coat is very beneficial to water resistance and to keep them cool.
Breed experience recommended.
Fence yard required. Active family that will take him swimming required. Strong firm owner needed as Chesapeakes are GREAT dogs but need to know who "the boss" is at all times. They are very loyal. The breed is not for every family!!!
Up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, just finished heartworm treatment and on prevention, on flea and tick prevention.
