Meet Baloo, a 1.5 year old Australian Shepherd mix. Baloo is your typical young dog who is full of energy and who loves to play. Baloo would do best in a an active home and/or has another young playful dog he could play with to burn energy off. Do you like the outdoors and hike? Do you like to train dogs? This could be your boy!

Baloo found himself turned in as a stray in a rural Central Valley animal shelter. He sat there as there is very little foot traffic and got little interest..he was then tagged by rescue just in the knick of time. He must have had a family at some point...he has house manners, is house broken and just soaks up all the attention he can get from his people.

Baloo would do best going to a home who is; active, experienced with herding breeds, committed to training, is patient and has a home with a fenced yard. Another dog who is friendly, young and playful is a huge bonus. This dog has a lot of love to give who will give you hugs and kisses and will snuggle up with his folks, but they do need to have an outlet for him. Baloo is neutered, UTD and microchipped.
