Story of Benji~
Benji is a miracle cat. When we first saw his lifeless body, we thought he was hit by a car. He sustained a deep laceration in his upper pallet and a shattered lower jaw. It was later determined that the injuries were caused by the impact from falling which made perfect sense. Benji was found next to a 7-story building, lying on the sidewalk in a pool of blood, bleeding to death. Benji underwent multiple surgeries, connected to a feeding tube with his jaw held together by 2 metal screws. He had to stay that way for 4 weeks waiting to heal. Yet and still, all the pain and discomfort did not discourage this gentle sweet soul. All Benji wanted was to be a lap cat, be held and petted.

Benji is approximately 2 years old, high in spirit, happy, playful and ready for his forever home.
