Meet MAVI, a 3 year old brown tabby gal who is a VOLUNTEER FAVORITE and the most AMAZING PERFECT cat ever! Mavi’s owner passed away and she was brought to our shelter. Mavi is a BIG girl weighing in at a whopping 21 lbs! Her adopter should be committed to helping her shed some pounds over time and keeping her back end groomed being that it’s tricky for her to reach back there. Mavi is currently in a foster home in Westchester, NY. Her foster family is crazy about her and here is what they have to say. “Mavi is the CUDDLIEST cat you’ll ever meet. All she wants to do is get PETS, get BRUSHED (she likes rubbing her face on it more than she likes other people brushing for her), and SNUGGLE up with her people. At night when you lie down, she shoves her way under your head to be a pillow. She loves PLAYING with toys and she’s actually very mobile for a cat as big as she is. She’s a huge diva too and a big TALKER. When she wants attention she quacks like a duck and waddles around until she finds you, then she’ll plop down on the floor and start rolling. She loves giving KISSES too. Mavi would thrive in a home where someone is home a lot since she craves COMPANIONSHIP and loves having people around."
