Meet Tonka!!!
He is the PERFECT dog!! Love dogs, kids, cats…every single person he meets.
He doesn’t have a care in the world.
He can entertain himself with his toys, hang outside and do zoomies (limited outside time due to the heat), loves to snuggle and hang out on the couch.
He does shed…he is a husky mix (do you expect anything else?)

This sweet boy came into rescue at 12 weeks old and has been returned TWICE back to rescue due to NO fault of him. Let’s explain why he was brought back…his original adopters seem to love him, and he loved them. He has belly issues, and the vet told the adopter that “he has EPI” without testing him. A certain food and enzymes started to help but they couldn’t keep up with the 3-4x a day feeding with working full time. We took him back and our foster was able to get him to 2x a day feeding and reached out to the original adopter, and they welcomed him back……for just under 2 weeks when the wife decided that his shedding was too much (he has shed since they originally adopted in January).
TONKA DOES NOT HAVE EPI!!!! HE WAS TESTED A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO.
***Tonka is on a certain food and enzymes but we are working on weaning him off...he is also on antibiotics
