My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Jenny is smiling these days. And she has much to smile about.  Life is good. She is a snuggle bug who plays when she wants to, but loves a good nap. She loves being pet and will move her head to get your hand just to the right spot. She'll get your attention one way or another, and one way she does that is by rubbing her head along your hand.  She came in from a hoarding situation and was very careful about eating. She would wait til everyone else ate and then would take whatever, if anything, was left. She was skinny and malnourished and the bigger more aggressive cats were mean to her.
But now she has come into her own. Food in abundance and she can eat when she pleases. Kind words and petting are available and toys are free for her to play with.

Catsnap has the notion that you can restore a cats body and soul by socialization, love, good food, treats and vetting. Some cats we get are too far past the rehabilitation needed for their poor wounded hurting body's and then they are put in loving hospice homes until the vet says it is time. And the vet is not quick to do that, and  Jenny was fortunate and was in the vast majority of our rescued cats. She thrived and today is the epitome of a Catsnap cat who now is simply waiting for her people!
Her smile is well earned!

Thank you for your interest in a Catsnap cat or kitten!

If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application
located on our website catsnap.org.

We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.

Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care
deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.

All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:
  • Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus
  • Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)
  • Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
  • Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment
  • Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions
  • Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
