My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jubilee!

Her foster mom received a special request to save this girl based on her being so scared in the noisy scary shelter that all she would do is curl up in a ball in the back of her cage and shake and refuse to eat, her foster mom responded and brought her into the LHS family.

She was abandoned by her “people”. She didn’t understand and she didn’t know how to live in a kennel where other dogs were barking all the time. She didn’t eat in the kennel where the other dogs were barking all the time. She sadly was waiting for her people to remember where they forgot her but They Didn’t.

Since her first few hours in a loving home, there has been tons of progress. Her eyes are happy. She eats when we have dinner. She loves her bed.

She is a completely different dog outside the terrifying shelter. The people who abandoned her never deserved her. The family who gets to love her ‘fur’ever is going to let her know how special she is every day because we know that she will make your family feel special every day. For today, her foster mom loves her.

Jubilee is a spayed female Shepherd mix with beautiful reddish gold fur that is 5 years old and weighs 55 pounds.

She is walking well on a leash and is calm and well behaved in the house and when she is kenneled in her crate.

Jubilee is house trained and loves her crate so also crate trained.

She is good with all people, other dogs, and older kids but has not been around cats.

Jubilee is looking for a forever home where she will be treated as a member of the family for the rest of her life, and in return she promises to give back lots of love, kisses, and devotion.

Jubilee is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, Heartworm Negative and Micro Chipped.

I f you think Jubilee might be a fit at your home, please complete an application on our website and her foster mom will be in touch.

She is accepting applications for her person.
