My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Burton is a 3 year old, 9 lb., gold and white shih tzu with a beautiful coat. He is a very handsome boy and has a very sweet disposition. Burton gets along well with other dogs, cats and children. Burton is housebroken by use of a doggie door. He will make an outstanding pet and has been fully vetted and up to date on all of his shots and is also neutered.
We do not make money on the yorkies we adopt to new families, we use whatever remaining money we have to help other yorkies in need. NC Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a small group of dedicated and sincere yorkie lovers. We take all yorkies, regardless of age or health issues. We are in the process of applying for our 501(c)(3) and are a non-profit group. A home visit may be performed before the adoption is approved and an adoption application must be submitted and approved as well. All of our yorkies come with complimentary training sessions, either by a personal visit to the office or a telephone consultation, to help their transition into their new home.
