Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

King is the smallest of a litter that contained six other males. He might have been small, but he was always the mightiest! He always got his brothers and sisters to play with him. Around other animals he can be shy and timid to start – BUT – he will warm up! When by himself this smarty loves training and learns very quickly. At his young age he already knows sit and has begun leash training.
He is a very playful, full of energy puppy who loves hair! He does well with cats and also likes to play with them even though the cats don’t really want to play with him. He does enjoy a nice session of fetch. He loves walking on the leash and he loves to run. He likes all his toys to chew but needs the heavy duty toys. He is crate trained and does well with pottying outside. He is a handful at times and likes to pull things off the counter and chew them.. like dish towels or wash clothes. These things need to be put up out of his reach.
King loves the broom and the mop and it can make cleaning a little difficult. King also has an obsession with toilet paper. He loves to chew and eat rolls of it. King has never been the only animal in a household and would benefit from having a playmate.
If you are interested in adopting King click at the link below. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
King’s adoption donation is $450 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
