Oh, hi, I’m Kitty Purry.
I’m on the shy side, so it’s a little difficult to tell you about myself. I’m a recent mom of 3 boys. Their names are Biscuit, Gravy, and Pepper. Man, I love my little ones. The staff say I’m incredibly patient. I will admit, I need someone who will be patient with me. I was brought into the shelter as a semi-feral. Considering I was pregnant when I came in, it was safe to say that I was pretty terrified. Thankfully, I soon came to realize that the staff were here to help me. While I have made a lot of progress, I still get scared. I think it’s safe to say that if you had as big of a change as I did, you would still be unsure too.
While I have uncertainty still, I have learned that I can trust the staff. They feed me, take care of me, take care of my kittens, they make sure I’m happy, and they make sure I’m healthy. I know I wouldn’t be doing well without their help. While I don’t mind being here with my kittens, I will admit that I would much rather be in a home. Specifically one without all the hustle and bustle of the shelter. People move fast and it can be loud, which still makes me quite nervous.
The staff tell me I’m a beautiful girl, inside and out. I’m hoping I can find someone who feels the same way they do. Would you be willing to give me the chance? My kittens need a home but so do I. What do you think? Will you give this shy mama a chance?
