Born to a smart outdoor colony cat 4/20/2022, she and her siblings lived outdoors for the first 8wks of life. Their smart momma found her way to her foster's home for daily feedings.

Her foster did not know she had a family and trapped her intending to have her spayed. Once she saw that she was actively lactating she was forced to release Erika's momma so she could go back out to care for her family. A few weeks later, Erika's mom, Alice, starting bringing her family to the daily feedings. The foster was able to lure them into her foster room, and began to tame them. That is, of course, all of them including mom, but not Erika! She eluded capture for another few days. Now she is a sweet girl, but will need a special person to make her feel safe she has never been around little kids or dogs, they would scare her,. Her ideal home would not need her to be a lap cat and provide her with the companionship of another cat and ample time to adjust to a her very first home away from her foster's home. Her mommy, sisters and brothers have all been adopted and she has been living with her best friend Myaqle for the better part of a year now.

Erika is spayed, microchipped, is FVRCP vaccinated, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
