Max is a Dutch Shepherd and approximately 3 years old. He is a typical Dutchie in many ways. He is very toy driven and loves a game of fetch. When excited he's mouthy and will def give you the love nibbles. He is not interested in making many human friends outside of "his" people, but as long as he is under control/guidance of his handler he does fine. This means that he isn't the life of the party when people come over or the dog that is going to be pet on by strangers. He bonds with his people and is so goofy and fun to have around. He is mostly house and crate trained. He requires a fenced yard to enjoy. Max does know basic obedience. He is dog social but prefers females. He will require an adult home. No cats please. He is healthy and happy and would be great for an active pet home or a hobby sport pet home!
Interested families can submit applications for adoption on our website-

Every dog that enters our rescue is updated on all vaccines, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and kept current on flea and heart worm prevention. During their stay with us, all dogs receive training with house manners, socialization, and basic obedience. We screen all adopting families to ensure a perfect permanent placement. We ask for an adoption fee of $150, with covers some of the costs that we incur for caring for each rescue dog. As a non profit rescue, we rely solely on donations from the public to continue to rescue needy dogs.

Currently the K9 Justice League dog rescue is 100% foster home based, meaning all of our rescued dogs live in home environments while they are waiting for their forever homes. Information on all of our current rescue dogs is viewable on this website and appointments can be made to meet any of our available dogs. Our future goal is to create a state of the art facility where all of our rescue dogs can receive all of the attention and care they need while also being more accessible to potential adopters.

More about this rescue
Thousands of dogs enter animal shelters every year and many of those dogs never find new homes. Whether the dogs needed a little more training and/or socialization, were sick and needed medical care, or just ran out of time in a crowded facility... these dogs need more help. With many years of experience in animal rescue, Jessica Wilde and Tiffany Gray united to form this organization to help as many of these dogs in need as possible. The K9 Justice League is a nonprofit organization formed in 2008 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. It is owned and operated by it's founders Jessica Wilde and Tiffany Gray. The K9 Justice League works locally and in surrounding areas rescuing and re-homing dogs in need. An amazing group of dedicated friends, family, and volunteers help with keeping this rescue up and running.
