LEIA was seconds away from certain death! You see as a young cat she unwisely gave birth to her kittens in a yard with a prey oriented dog. The owner recognized the dangers and saved the kittens but before he could rescue LEIA, his dog attacked her. The owner surrendered the kittens and injured mom. LEIA spent months recovering from her injuries. With the loving care at a volunteers' home, LEIA not only recovered but it was discovered that LEIA was no feral but rather a sweet, extremely affectionate, vocal love bug! She meows for attention and she especially loves to roll on her back for belly rubs! You'll fall in love with this beautiful girl with her sleek black coat and stunning eyes. She does have a slight limp when she walks, but it doesn’t affect her ability to play or climb. LEIA will make a wonderful companion and deserves a loving home after everything she has been through.
