My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tig and Kinsey are a bonded pair of kittens; they are 5 months old and 5 pounds each.  They were born to a stray cat who was rescued from the street 6 months ago to be rehomed.

Their current guardian states this about dogs: They grew up around calm, cat-friendly dogs.  They mostly ignore them.  Sometimes they will gently bat at their wagging tails.  Any dogs they live with would need to be similarly calm and gentle.

Their current guardian states this about cats:  They grew up around adult cats in addition to their mother.  The other adults cats mostly do not want to interact with the kittens and the kittens respect their personal space.

Tig and Kinsey fear nothing and love everything; they sleep in their cat trees, beds, or next to people; they roam freely throughout the home; they are good in crates in the car.

According to the current guardian, the ideal family/home would be:  Their adopters do not need to be cat experienced, but if they are new to cats, they should be ready for a steep learning curve - kittens are a handful, but they are easier in pairs !  Siblings Tig and Kinsey should go to a home together; they love playing and napping together and they keep each other occupied.  They are also affectionate and playful with people.  They are somewhat independent and not lap cats, at least not yet while they are in their adventurous kitten stage, but they also love being petted.  The home would be ready for kitten-proofing because these young acrobats are ready to climb and jump and play on and with anything.  When they are feeling especially energetic and don't want to be held, they are gentle with asking to be put down, so they would be okay with gentle kids.
