Greetings! I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Monica, and I'm a three-month-old Labrador Retriever who currently weighs 26 pounds. My siblings - Phoebe and Joey - and I came from a hoarding situation. I was under-socialized but I have made great progress in my foster home. I usually don't brag, but I'm making excellent progress with house training. I settle into my crate perfectly at night. My sweet foster Mom keeps my crate in her bedroom so I don't get lonely! In fact, I love LOVE and cuddling during downtime and at night. Like most puppies, I'm energetic, and I like to move. I'm great on walks; I just need a little encouragement to get out the door. I enjoy chewing (what puppy doesn't?), but I understand the 'no' and 'leave it' commands. My foster Mom gave me some chew toys and bones that are really fun. Oh, I recently learned these commands: 'sit,' 'wait,' 'off,' and 'shake.' As you can see, I'm very smart! I've made excellent progress...my foster Mom is so proud of me! When we encounter people, I no longer cower or hide! Instead, people get to see my happy, bubbly personality. I love to play! Fetch is my absolute favorite, and I'm an expert at bringing it back. I also love playing in the hose and in the pool. If the right person is patient and continues my behavior training, I'll be the best, loyal family member. My minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
I have been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
