Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ROO - Collie Mix / 11 months / 20kg / F-Spayed
Whether Roo is a litttle bit country, or a little bit rock n roll, her mood is always the best.
Her country vibe:
Roo loves the great outdoors, whether it be hikes or walks, or exploring new territory. Her personal goal is 10,000 steps a day, which takes her and foster mom exploring. The more she sees, the more she wants to see, and she loves to try new things, once she is comfortable and confident with her crew. She embraces her backyard time, for both chilling and zipping around.
Her rock and roll side:
This girl has endurance with a side of FOMO. She loves car trips with the music playing, or winery trips, or a trip to the city to visit family. When playing with her canine foster sis, she will play hard (she tends to match play style of her playmate, but gravitates towards the dog that will rough and tumble with her). She loves meeting new friends-human or canine. She did pass her cat test in Mexico, but we suspect she may chase. We think she would love and excel at agility as she is keen to learn and she loves any type of physical activity.
In the home, she is great. She is housetrained, sleeps in the crate without a peep, and is a good girl. She can jump up on people, so we recommend that if there are kids in her future home, they should be sturdy enough for her 40+ pounds.
If you have a secure yard, a playful pup and think Roo could round out your family, please do apply! Details on the adoption process are at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with older kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply. (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/ ).
