Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Baxter was a rescue at only 10 lbs two years ago, and he chose me. He is now 21 lbs and takes occasional psych meds for his anxiety. He comes and stands by you when he wants to go outside to potty, doesn’t bark, and he has some accidents at night when it gets dark outside.
I’m currently going through a divorce after 20 years and he has severe anxiety issues. He adores going to doggy daycare I cannot afford, and Baxter should be in a home with another small to medium sized dog; he’s afraid of large dogs. He is happier around another dog.
Baxter will play fetch for hours and never get enough. He enjoys pool time with me, as long as I hold him up. His swimming isn’t too good, although he accidentally fell in once and swam to the side for me to pick him up and out.
I will not surrender him without the appropriate loving home. I just started getting him to leash walk after years of training after he was abused and beaten with a leash at the breeders. He is loyal and loving!
