Story of Sophie:
Sophie was dropped off at a vet's office in a cardboard box. She was going to be euthanatized due to her critical state of health. She had pneumonia. We happened to be at the same vet visiting another rescued kitty. When we saw her lifeless little body, we knew something must be done! So we brought her to the Long Island Veterinary Specialists to receive the special medical care that she desperately needed. Sophie was hospitalized and stayed in the ICU for days. Her medical bills amounted to thousands. We started a fundraiser to pay for her expenses and we are still in debt to this day. But we didn’t care. We wanted our little angel to get better. Sophie did not disappoint. With medications, time, and lots of TLC, Sophie got better and grew stronger each day. Sophie has since recovered. Now Sophie needs a family to help her continue to grow bigger and stronger. In return, Sophie will give you the best gift she can ever give, her heart.

Sophie is up to date with vaccinations appropriate to her age, tested negative, dewormed. She will be spayed when she's old enough before 6 months of age and this is included in the adoption fee. More details will be given during the adoption process.

Note~
All kittens will be adopted in pairs. Single kittens can be adopted into a home with another kitten or a young cat. If you are not already owned by a kitty, we will be more than happy to pair your adopted kitten with another happy and heathy kitten or young cat that is in our care. Please ask!
