My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Everett needs a foster home! He is about 5 years old and is tri-colored. He's good with kids and prefers women as he may have been abused in the past. He does warm up to men, but it will take a little patience to earn his trust. We know that farm life is not for this guy.

Everett lived with the same family for 4 years before he was given to another family who kept him for about 5 months before dumping him at a shelter. Fortunately, he was adopted by a family who cared for him until life circumstances drastically changed and they were no longer able to give him the time and care he needed. They wanted to make sure he found a good, basset-savvy family and decided BHRG was the best place for him to find that new family. He's visiting a BHRG vet, so we'll post more information when it's available.

An adoption application is required but does not commit you to adoption. For the application and information about the adoption process, please visit www.bhrg.org.

If you would like to foster this hound, please complete a foster home application at http://bhrg.org/foster_application.htm.
