My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Born ~2020, M, Blue Point Siamese
Adoption Fee: $300
________________________________________
This beautiful boy was adopted from Purebreds about a year ago. Most of this year there were disagreements in his home about whether they should keep him. Siamese kitties are extra sensitive to their humans' feelings and I am sure he felt this discord swirling around him so I was very glad to get him back. You can see the solemnity, the stress and sadness in his face. He will recover soon in his new home.

Charlie is unusually large for a Siamese - 13 pounds. He is not really carrying extra weight he is just magnificently big with a long body and long legs. Blue Point Siamese kitties are a sort of gray color which looks so perfect with their icy blue eyes. He has an elegant thick coat and big, beautiful paws.

We originally got Charlie from a "breeder" who loved Siamese cats and quickly had too many of them. We were given three of her kitties and Charlie was the most mellow, confident, and outgoing. This good-natured boy is an easy cat, he loves humans, gets along with other cats, and may be fine with dogs though I do not know for sure. He is an easygoing loving boy, happy to lie next to you on the sofa for late night movies..

People love Siamese cats because they are so beautiful but also because these kitties want a strong bond with their humans. They are great companions and family cats. They are known to be unusually sensitive to their humans' feelings and also physical wellbeing.

I want to mention one concern from his history in his last home, a litterbox concern.
In his last home he always used his litterbox to pee in but on occasion ("especially when fed tuna" ) ( ? ) he would pee in his box but poop right outside it. Always the same spot. In foster I have given him two identical boxes and he has been perfect with them. Some cats prefer two boxes one for pee and another for poop. If I had known about this situation I would have suggested they put a second box next to the first in the spot he chose. Make it easy and simple. I would suggest in his new home you might start him off with two boxes and take one away if it doesn't seem useful. As I mentioned this has NOT been an issue at all while he has been with us. He has used both boxes. Maybe the stress in his home contributed to this intermittent behavior?

Charlie would like a quiet, stable home with humans who are home most of the time. He would be fine with older children and quiet gentle dogs. A single person will find Charlie to be the loving companion he or she always hoped for.

Charlie is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is
litterbox perfect.

He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Charlie please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
