Story of Alexander (Alex) & Konstandino (Dino) ~
Alex & Dino are 10-week-old kittens found playing in someone's backyard. Happy and healthy one day, yet the next day, Alex was paralyzed and unable to walk with his hind legs. He was only about 4 weeks old at the time when the founder brought him to us seeking help. Alex was crying constantly so we went and got his brother Dino to provide emotional support. It was determined that Alex sustained a spinal injury. The vet recommended euthanasia and we said no. This little guy has his whole life ahead of him with his brother waiting by his side. How could we let him go? We cannot give up if Alex wants to stay in this fight. So, we committed ourselves to seeing this fighter through.
Followed by a successful surgery, Alex went for a 6-day rehabilitation. We visited him in the rehab facility as often as we could. Happy to report that Alex is now back home with us and thriving. He is not only walking but playing and jumping (Alex is the little orange kitten in the video, the bigger orange cat is Benji, also posted). Dino is beyond the moon. He has been waiting for a long time to be with his brother. The day is finally here!
Alex and Dino are up to date with vaccinations appropriate to their age, tested negative, dewormed. When old enough (usually around 6 months) and weigh enough, we will make arrangements to get both neutered at no cost to the adopter. More details will be given during the adoption process.
Alex and Dino are ready and seeking their forever home. We want them to be adopted together but if you already have another kitten or young cat in the family, they can go separately.
