Shadow enjoys playing with his toys but especially loves a tennis ball ! He is the best car copilot jumps right in the car and ready for the next adventure. He adores playing all his pupper friends while in foster home.
Shadow was adopted as a puppy in Sept 2021 and recently returned to us because the new baby was unfortunately allergic to him. He is approximately a year old now and 52 lbs. He had his DNA tested and it turns out he is mostly Australian shepherd, Bassett hound, and Great Pyrenees. He is a great dog with the BEST temperament. He did some basic obedience training as well as being crate and house trained. He is amazing with little kids (including his previous owner's one year old) and loves other dogs (he frequented the dog park.) Shadow could use some additional leash training and work on not jumping on new people out of excitement. He is full of energy and loves to play. He will make an amazing new family member for a lucky family!

Events here! Pup’s with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
