Hi! My name is Winnie. I'm a 3 year old Mixed breed. I have been spayed, de-wormed and I have received my first set of vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.
I first came to the shelter in early may, I was keeping a little secret from the ladies here....I was pregnant! My secret was quite short lived once the ladies found out about the babies a couple days later. I was soon moved into an area for me to have my babies and all NINE were born soon after.
All my babies have grown up and gone off to find greater things in life and I think it may be my turn soon!?
I will need a family committed to helping me master my house training (I don't quite have it down-pat yet) And I need a family willing to give me lots of exercise and enrichment.
My foster let the ladies here know that I can be a bit chewy when left home alone, But its just because I want you to come back so bad! I have shown some separation anxiety so I will need an owner Willing to learn about this and help me with it. I do have my basic commands down, especially if you have treats! But I could still definitely benefit from some basic obedience or classes!
I do really well with other canine companions, My foster had another large dog and I loved playing with him! I however Really DO NOT like Cats, A home with absolutely NO cats is a must for me. I will harm a cat if given the chance so my future owner must be committed to keeping me away from them, for my safety and their own.
If you think I may be the right one for you come down to the shelter and take me out to the playpen! I am sure to impress you with my frisbee skills!!
