My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jazzy is a sweet 2 year old (estimated) pitbull/Shar-Pei mix that started with an extremely sad life. From what we can tell she was housed outside in horrible conditions and was just used as a breeding machine, then dumped. Since being in rescue (5 months) we have diligently been battling her infected skin condition, which is almost fully cleared, and she’s also going through the slow-kill heartworm treatment (rescue will continue to pay for treatment and re-test). Jazzy is spayed and UTD on all vaccines.
Due to her traumatic start of life she needs to be an only pet and also needs a home with children no younger than teenagers (she was also tortured by kids). She is insanely sweet and cuddly,is not a high energy dog and would rather sunbathe than run around (fenced yard not required with adequate walks), crate trained, knows basic commands (including shake), loves car rides, good on leash, hates baths (but will go along with it) and LOVES treats and attention. If you are looking for a true companion that will stay by your side then Jazzy is 100% your girl! If interested in adopting Jazzy please go to our website at operationsaveashelterdog.org and complete and adoption application. Adoption fee is $250.
