Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lyla is a Beagle/Terrier mix who really wants to be your best friend!! She has so much love to give and is a loyal and devoted companion. She’s a healthy and active 9 year old who loves going on walks and being a part of daily activities. She also loves to cuddle, give kisses, curl up by her person or just hangout with them. She’s really the best of both worlds! She is the perfect medium size at 30lbs. She is house trained, spayed, knows basic manners, uses a dog door and walks well on a leash
Lyla is super sweet and loving but lacks confidence. She was found as stray so we don’t know her past. She has been in a few temporary homes recently and is insecure - particularly when being left alone. She is not destructive when alone, but she becomes anxious. We believe she will do best in a home where someone is usually there. She loves people and is friendly to everyone she meets. Lyla is dog selective and we believe she will thrive as the only dog in the home. She would like to be the queen of her castle! She can be dog reactive when out on walks, but she has shown great improvement in this in a short amount of time. She is very treat motivated and learns quickly.
An ideal home for her (foster or adoptive) will be an active household where she can also help hold down the couch. She’s a really good, sweet dog who just wants to be loved and give love for the rest of her golden years.
