My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Snow is a 3-year-old terrier mix who is 16 lbs. She came to us very scared and shut down.  It didn’t take her long to come out of her shell and become a loving member of the family.  She is still, however, slow to warm up to strangers.  Usually, a little treat will help speed up the process.

Snow is a very well-behaved little girl who loves to run and play with the other dogs in the home but is also content to just lay beside you on the couch while you watch a movie.  She loves little stuffies to play with and amazingly hasn’t chewed them up.  Snow is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and has been completely potty trained in her foster home.  She will go to the door to ask to go out.  Please know that it is common to have an accident when adjusting to a new home.

Snow does well with other dogs although she can sometimes be a little protective of her person.  She gives a warning growl and we have been working on correcting that.  Because of this, we recommend that she go to a home with older children who can heed the warning.  Snow loves to chase the cat in her foster home but it is only for fun. She shares the yard in her foster home with chickens and doesn’t mind them a bit.  Snow is afraid of loud noises, thunder, etc so she will need a little extra love during a storm.

Overall Snow is a smart, sweet, loving, funny little girl who deserves a family of her own. She is happy, eager to please, and did we mention smart as a whip!  With a family who can spend a little time on her training, the possibilities are endless.

If snow is the girl for you please apply!

Snow is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $400
