My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Senior dogs melt our hearts! How about you!? If you're in the market to add a loyal dog to your life, you've got to meet Daisy. You might not believe she's a 12 year old lady because her energy level is anything but geriatric. Daisy is smart, attentive, and very playful. Won’t you be the one to give this loyal gal a place to call home?

Daisy has told us she really prefers to be the only furry child in the home.

If you're interested in giving this pup a loving, safe home, please fill out an application at aylasacres.org.

Additional adoption info

We don't have a facility, so we screen applicants thoroughly before we set up a meet and greet. We conduct a vet check, reference check and a home check. We typical set up the meet at the adoptive home so the home check can be completed at the same time. If both parties agree the pup is a good fit we complete the adoption agreement and accept the adoption fee.

More about this rescue

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
