My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crew’s mom was sadly left in a house alone when the owners moved. She broke out of the house where she was and found herself taken in by somebody who cared for her. Unfortunately, she had puppies and they were unable to care for all of them so she found her self in a shelter.
Fortunately, a foster for Augusta dog adoptions saw her posted and agreed to foster her and the puppies until they were old enough to be adopted.
We are just guessing at breed, we honestly have no idea. Mom is beautiful and has blue eyes.
We are guessing the puppies will be in the medium range when they are full grown. Of course, this is also only a guess since we can’t tell for sure.
Puppies are a lifetime commitment. They need lots of time and patience. Puppies are successful in homes where there is another dog for them to play with or where someone is home a lot of the time.

Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
