Here's what the humans have to say about me:
For about three years, a woman in a nearby neighborhood was feeding a beautiful black and white stray cat. He started to believe her home was his home but he didn't want to make it a full-time residence. He would come to get fed, hang out with the homeowner and her family for awhile and then be on his merry way. This lifestyle wasn't perfect but as long as they were around to feed him and provide shelter, it worked for him. When the homeowner became ill and went on hospice, he would come in and curl up on her bed for awhile and provide that kitty comfort she needed.
Recently, the homeowner passed away and her family is selling her house. They were concerned about what would happen to Frankie (who was called Kitty by all of them). They reached out to for help not wanting to risk having him mistreated by a new homeowner or others in the neighborhood. We are especially glad they did because we discovered he is front paw declawed and was previously neutered. He was someone's pet at one time. We'll never know what happened but the outdoors is no place for a declawed cat.
We took him in and he is sweet and friendly. We asked the family if they had a name they wanted him called and they asked he be named Frankie after their dad's favorite singer, Frank Sinatra.
All of our cats come with microchips, spayed or neutered, get a rabies vaccine, an FVRCP vaccine along with a booster, have a fecal test done and are tested for FIV/Felv.
