IDGSR WELCOMES BELLA INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Meet Bella, a beautiful husky/shepherd mix. Bella is about 2 years old and just gorgeous with the husky markings and beautiful fluffy tail! She has a very sweet, loving disposition. She's crate trained, house-broken, and already has good manners. And she gets along great with other dogs and kids. (no cats though)
Bella had a terrible life before coming to the safety of the rescue. She was horrendously neglected... chained up inside in a dilapidated pen. She had a dislocated hip and had given birth to 6 puppies. They were all in horribly terrible condition, filthy and underweight. Thankfully, a good neighbor stepped in to save her and the pups by threatening to report the owner to the authorities.
Bella is in great shape now and you'd never know from her personality that she had that much trauma in her life. All of her beautiful pups have been adopted. She had hip surgery to fix her dislocated (FHO surgery), and has put on some much-needed weight. Even her coat looks great now! Healthy, thick and shiny!

Even though Bella already has good manners, she will benefit from additional training. Training is a great way to develop a deep bond with your new dog, improve their manners and establish a trusting, respectful relationship with you. Huskies and German Shepard Dogs are active, extremely intelligent and loyal. Training will ensure these traits are directed into positive behaviors.
