My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tuffy was part of a 69-dog hoarding situation a few hours outside of Austin. Naturally, he arrived very undersocialized and scared, but he has made so much progress in the few months he has been at RFR!

Initially, hhe was shut down, hiding in a bedroom, running away from any dog or person he saw. Now he loves lounging and running around the entire house, playing with toys and dog friends, and sunbathing in the yard between frolics. He can be unsure of new dogs within the first few minutes of meeting them, but quickly warms up to make a new best friend. He still is making progress everyday with his comfort level around people, and is now running up to take treats straight from the hand of his human friends.

He is up to date on all of his medical, neutered, and ready to start building a relationship with a patient person or family who will celebrate his wins with him. It would be best for him to be in a home with another confident dog that he can bond with and can help him transition into his new life.
