My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rye is in need of a foster home immediately. Recently 'adopted' along with Whiskey as a retired breeder she is in need of a quiet, loving home to decompress and learn how to be a pet.

These two have sadly only been used for breeding and are terrified. Our extensive experience with undersocialized dogs is why their new family reached out. They wanted the best for these dogs and knew they could, unfortunately not give it to them.

We do not know much about Rye other than she is not used to human interaction, or how to respond to loving caring people. She has so much potential, but needs to land in a safe place with people understanding that this process does not happen overnight. Sadly our rescue has been through this 50+ times on various levels as we rescued many goldens and labradors used only for profit.

They will NOT be available together as both need a well balanced dog to learn from and while they may seem to find comfort their scared demeanor does not help the other dog.

Requirements:

Securely fenced yard- 6'

No children (flight risk)

People home most of the time to work with their fears

Well balanced adult dog(s)
