Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ALCACHOFA - Chi-mix / 6 months / 4kg / F-Spayed
Alcachofa is just wee but this little girl has a big, bold personality. She’s not only adorable but very sweet, charming and lively. She will make a great companion as she adores people, and always wants to be by your side. Her favourite things are napping, cuddles, kisses and people!
Alcachofa sleeps in her crate at night and is not yet house trained but she’s working on it! She’s very smart and eager to keep up with her foster siblings. She doesn’t want to be left behind - she’s determined to keep up and be apart of whatever is going on! Her future family will have to be dedicated to training, setting boundaries and socialization. A canine pal to mentor would be ideal, she enjoys the company of other dogs and doesn’t mind cats. Alcachofa is agile, cheerful, and excited to find her forever family!
Disclaimer: Unfortunately, due to malnutrition in her early months, the enamel on her teeth was stripped away leaving her with dull and discoloured teeth. Thankfully, she is not in any pain and the vets decided not to do any extractions as her roots still look healthy. Regular brushing and cleanings will have to be apart of her routine, as well as providing no hard toys, chews or food.
To apply to adopt adorable Alcachofa, check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $870. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
