Reporting from Riverside California I am here with the one-of-a-kind Popeye (Gray and White) and Oliver (Black and White) who is here to explain his incredible journey of their first 13 weeks of life. Thank you, sweetheart, hello all my name is Popeye, and I am Oliver I’m that big ball of white and black you see in the background! Let's start from the beginning shall we and the first thing is how did we get our unique, beautiful, one of a kind, artistic, perfectly picked out name…. We got it because we use to live at a Popeyes drive through and spent our first weeks munching on their mash potatoes and gravy. We huddled together under bushes for weeks waiting for food every day. Then one day a new food was placed in front of us…kitten food…never seen that before, we carefully inched ourselves closer to the mouthwatering food. A nibble here and there until it was a free for all, we’ve never had anything so yummy in our entire life! Then all of a sudden HANDS came at us, and we were picked up by some human! Oh dear kitten we were scared, I looked over to see my brother Oliver also in a panic as this human had us in their hands! A bump here and a turn there we made it to a house…a nice house…it had this thing called AC, never heard of it before. We were taken for a bath to get rid of any fleas and dirt we had on us. We must have gotten the spa deluxe package because we were very much taken care of, dirt was scraped off under our nails, our ears were cleaned, and the shampoo they used was like velvet on my fur. Then these huge plush towels were wrapped around us as we dried off and were brought to our Airbnb we never paid for. There were hundreds of toys! Many many cans of that mouthwatering kitten food, water that had no trash in it and this big thing called a litter box, that took a second to figure out. We had not one, but TWO beds to choose from but we ultimately decided we needed to stick together so we cuddled up with each other and drifted off to sleep after our bellies were completely full. From then on, we have been living the life but apparently our Airbnb has other guests arriving soon so that they can get the same help that we did, so we are looking to buy our own place and I think your house might just be it. We will not pay any utilities, we will eat all your food, we will hide my toys and tell you we need new ones because our other toys “disappeared” out of the thin air…I, Popeye pay in purrs though, I am an on call purr machine, to put me on call just pick me up and place me in your arms and I will be on the clock, I do require 30 minute breaks after being on the clock for 10 minutes but that shouldn’t be a problem just look at me! I, Oliver pay in jingling my bell up and down the hallway getting everyone's attention so I can be the center of attention. You can contact my Airbnb host by email or by phone. Note from the Airbnb host: Hello future adopters, my name is Taylor, and I am the foster parent for Popeye and his brother Oliver. I would love to see them both go together since Popeye is very protective of his little, but big brother Oliver. Popeye is a sweet boy, always up for cuddles and playtime with you or with Oliver. Both of them are up to date on their shots, have been neutered, and both are microchipped. Both boys have lived in a house that has two other cats and two other dogs. Both are still unsure about the dogs but have no problem walking by them just playing with them they are still unsure about. They do good with our other cats. (Dogs: Phoebe, less than 2yrs old, lab and pit bull mix 50 lbs.; Ralphie, 4yrs old, Sheltie 40lbs) (Cats: Timmy gray tabby 18yrs old, Dequan gray tabby 6yrs old) Thank you for taking the time to read Popeye interview.
