My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Pony. Me and my brothers and sisters were abandoned when we were very small during a winter storm. Luckily a nice lady found us when she went to check on her horses and she called F5RS.org and here we are. We’re called the Barn Bunnies and we all have horsey names. I do like to gallop around and eat lots of hay so you might even say… I’m a little horse. Because my name is Pony. Oh. I crack me up. If you are looking for a funny friend to gallop through life with and you have room for a small Pony to run then trot on over to F5RS.org and fill out an application for me today. Whoa there! Before you go, I’m supposed to mention that I’m vaccinated against RHVD and current with all my health checks. So I’ve got my saddle bags packed and I’m rarin’ to go just waiting on someone to ride off into the sunset. That could be you!

More about this rescue

F5RS (Frisky Ferrets, Fuzzies, & Feathered Friends Rescue & Sanctuary) is dedicated to the practice and promotion of the idea that life is guaranteed to all healthy, sick, injured, or behaviorally unsound animals where medical and/or behavioral intervention can provide quality of life. At our facility, each animal receives individual consideration, regardless of health, age, prior abuse or trauma, or feral status. We provide care and treatment for all animals as needed, including veterinary care, appropriate nutrition, exercise, clicker training, and socialization with people and other animals. All potential adopters are rigorously screened and all adopted animals leave the facility with a veterinary wellness check, conversion to a healthier diet, and proper socialization skills. Rabbits are spayed or neutered. All animals deemed unsuitable for adoption live out their lives with all the necessary amenities. It is our vision that proper education, combined with proper match of adopter and adoptee will promote responsible companion caretakers - therefore creating happier, healthier companion - animal relationships.
