My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for your own personal puma?
Jordy is a super sweet and patient older gentleman. He's a sturdy, handsome boy! Big for a cat, like having your own personal mini Panther – minus the ferocity! The pictures don’t do him justice for how big he really is. He needs a person or family who will be patient with him as he adjusts to his new life – he came from a loving home, but his person couldn't keep him any longer. Jordy should be an indoor cat because he has a tendency to wander once outside, and he was hit by a car once. He had hip surgery as a result, and while he is fully recovered, staying inside will help him thrive in the second half of his still young life.

Jordy loves to hang out nearby, and he loves to be pet and get his chin scratched. He'll just keep coming back for more! He isn't known to be a lap cat, but he is so affectionate that we suspect he will blossom even more in a new calm and loving home. Jordy previously lived with another cat and three dogs, so he gets along with other animals pretty well, although we are unsure how that translates to other animals he is not familiar with. That said, he's quite adaptable. Jordy has always bounced back from difficult situations, so let's keep it that way. He deserves a new home and a new chance to thrive. After all, 9 is still young, and Jordy has lots to give!

🚗 We ask that adopters live within a 3 hour radius of the Bay Area.
