My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet sweet Pumpkin! Pumpkin was born in Feb 2020. She has been with a loving family since she was eight weeks old as a rescue. Sadly, due to severe dog allergies with serious health implications that have formed with one of the children, the family had to give up Pumpkin. She has been living in a loving home with 3 small children and can be trusted with kids any age. She especially likes infants, she will regularly try to give ours kisses on the nose, if he is cruising by at her level. She looks like a black lab, but she has the smarts of a working dog. She is the happiest when we are spending weekends at a ranch, where she will fetch a stick in the lake for literally as long as someone is willing to throw it! She is curious about horses and cows, but she will heel by your side and will not enter a pasture un-invited.

She is well trained and she absolutely loves being put to work. She is incredibly loyal, and she reads her owner to assess a situation. She has grown up in a neighborhood with kids and dogs, and this is all that she knows.

Pumpkin will be the happiest if she can find a loving family, who takes pride in giving her wonderful experiences - whether that be hikes in the mountains, dock diving in the lake, agility contests, or really anything that tests her mentally and physically. She will return the favor with love and loyalty that is second to none.
