Dip is a fun-loving, affectionate girl who's ready for her forever home. It won't take much to make her happy, just the basics.

- food and water with an occasional Frosty Paws or Honey Hut run
- a comfy place to sleep (your couch will be just fine)
- daily exercise to reach her goal of 10,000 steps a day as recommended by the CDC (a kiddie pool is a plus)
- a best friend to hang out with and remind her what a good girl she is
- a car and chauffeur who doesn't mind having a 60+ pound lap dog as a passenger!
- would prefer a home without cats or kids

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10am-5pm; Tuesday and Thursday 11am-6pm; and Sunday 12pm-4pm. Please come down to 1729 Willey to meet any animals of interest as all adoptions are first come, first served.

Adopter must be 18 years or older
Provide a valid driver's license or state issued identification
Our goal is to place animals as primarily household companions and to match you with an animal that fits your lifestyle

Our adoption fees vary based upon an animal's species, breed, and training.

When you adopt a feline or canine from the Cleveland APL, your Adoption Package includes:

Spay/Neuter Surgery
Initial Vaccines - DETAILS
Treatment for worms and fleas
Post-Adoption Health Exam Donated by a Local Veterinarian
Species-specific Portfolio with a wealth of information about your new pet.

The Cleveland Animal Protective League's mission is to foster compassion and end animal suffering. Incorporated in 1913, we are an independent, nonprofit humane society located in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood.

As a 501(c)(3) agency, we are not funded or controlled by any government or national animal welfare organization. Our animal shelter, services, and programs are made available through fundraising, donations, foundation and corporate support, and service fees.

We are committed to 100 percent placement of adoptable animals and envision a time when every friendly, healthy, homeless animal in our community can be cared for until a new family is found.

The Cleveland APL provides shelter to homeless animals relinquished by their guardians, animals that are rescued from abuse or neglect, and stray or abandoned cats.
